DETECTION AND EXTRACTION OF VEGETATION AREA FROM SATELLITE IMAGES

The overall growth of the population and continuing migration to urban increases demand meet sustainability in city. Further, urbanization development buildings reduces vegetation. This study focuses on detection extraction vegetation using image processing from high resolution satellite images. Here, this paper four steps are used detect tree crown, Detection Vegetation area masking Non-vegetation area, clustering input image, GLCM Texture analysis algorithm is find hard smooth surface image. Finally, extracted by a region-based segmentation process.
